Crime reduction advice

Two of our incidents this week involved distraction burglaries. The top tips we can advise is:
  • If you’re not sure who is at your door, don’t open it
  • Check the identity of the person by calling the company they are claiming to be from to confirm it is legitimate.
  • Always use a telephone number listed in local directory or one that is provided on statements by your service provider. Do NOT call the number provider by the person at the door – it may be bogus
  • Remember ‘THE WATERBOARD’ no longer exists. It is an obsolete phrase.

We ask that if you have neighbours who may not have access to social media, or aren’t signed up to this, please can you make them aware.

As ever if you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Kind regards,

Kelly
