Suspected stolen drill

Alert message sent 04/05/2019 10:40:00

Information sent on behalf of Devon and Cornwall Police

On WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY 2019 officers attended log 0612 which was reported in the St Budeaux area of Plymouth. Whilst dealing with this job, a member of the public gave officers a MAKITA drill which had been discarded and is suspected to be an item that had been stolen. This drill is distinctive and it is hoped the owner will be able to come forwards and provide further details about the item for it to be returned to them.

If you believe the drill to be yours please contact 101 quoting log 0612/1st or email 30684@dc.police.uk

Please can we also take this opportunity to remind people to property mark their tools in order to make them easily identifiable. This makes it much easier for items to be returned to their rightful owners if stolen and also harder for criminals to sell them on.

Many Thanks
