Since the last Neighbourhood watch brief we have had two reports of theft from a vehicle in Ketton Rd, Hambleton. Unknown person(s) have gained entry by smashing a window and have taken property. These incidents occurred between 08/04/2019 11:00 & 08/04/2019 13:10.
One report of theft from a vehicle in West St, Clipsham. Unknown person(s) have gained entry by smashing a window and have taken property. This incident occurred between 08/04/2019 12:00 & 09/04/2019 06:00.
One report of theft from a vehicle in Glaston Rd, Morcott. Unknown person(s) have gained entry by drilling the lock and have taken property. This incident occurred between 09/04/2019 03:30 & 09/04/2019 03:30.
One report of theft from a vehicle in Glaston Rd, Morcott. Unknown person(s) have gained entry by drilling the lock and have taken property. This incident occurred between 08/04/2019 16:30 & 09/04/2019 09:15.
One report of theft from a vehicle in Main Rd, Glaston. Unknown person(s) have gained entry by drilling the lock and have taken property. This incident occurred between 08/04/2019 19:00 & 09/04/2019 06:00.
One report of theft from a vehicle in Church Lane, Tickencote.  Unknown person(s) have removed both number plates. This incident occurred between 13/04/2019 21:00 & 14/04/2019 09:00.
One report of theft from a vehicle in Highfield Close, Empingham. Unknown person(s) have removed both number plates. This incident occurred between 13/04/2019 19:45 & 13/04/2019 23:45.

Leicestershire Trading Standards -  have received a report that local residents are being telephoned by an organisation claiming that their registration on the Telephone Preference Service needs to be renewed and asking for payment details. The Telephone Preference Service is a free service and is the official central register on which residents can record they do not wish to receive unsolicited sales or marketing calls. To register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) residents can call the registration line on 0345 070 0707 or visit www.tpsonline.org.uk. Alternatively, they can also register by writing to Telephone Preference Service, DMA House, 70 Margaret Street, London, W1W 8SS.
Trading Standards remind residents not to give out any personal or financial information over the phone even if they are told this is to prevent then becoming a victim of scam or receiving unwanted calls.
