Alert message sent 04/03/2019 16:08:00

Information sent on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary

There has been a spate of incidents where windscreens or windows of vehicles have been damaged in the Arle area of Cheltenham in recent weeks.

Police are urging for people to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious behaviour or activity by dialling 999 if the suspects are present.

It's believed offenders have used large stones to cause damage to the vehicles which have been parked in the area of both Netherwood Gardens and Brooklyn Gardens.

In one incident unknown offenders used a plant pot from a garden to damage a vehicle parked outside an address.

House to house enquiries are taking place and police have also received reports of vehicles being damaged in St Peters Close and Kingsmead Road.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify any further similar incidents and anyone who has been a victim of this crime and has not yet reported this to police, is asked to do so through the below link.

Anyone who has information about who might be responsible or has witnessed an incident, or anyone who has been a victim of this crime and has not yet contacted police, can report this online here: mel.oliveira@gloucestershire.pnn.police.uk
