COUNTERFEIT SCOTTISH NOTES BEING USED AS PAYMENT AT PUBS AND RETAIL PREMISIES

Hello Citizen,

Another incident has been reported in Hockley Heath, where one of the licenced premises have had two young males with strong Irish accents, one with ginger hair and wearing a green t-shirt, 2nd male was wearing black shirt with blue jeans who have attempted to use fake Scottish £50 in payment. This is the 2nd time this type of incident has occurred in the last few weeks. Thankfully this time they were unsuccessful.

Please be vigilant and make all staff aware to check if the money you receive include these fake notes. Please report any incidents to us via www.west-midlands.police.uk or 101 for non emergencies. In an emergency call 999.
