COUNTERFEIT SCOTTISH NOTES BEING USED AS PAYMENT AT PUBS AND RETAIL PREMISIES

Hello Citizen,

A number of local pubs around Hockley Heath area have reported that two males with strong Irish accents who have used fake Scottish £50 in payment for one drink.

They have also a short time after targeted another nearby premises and again both ordered separately at the bar and paid individually using the counterfeit Scottish £50 notes. 

Please be vigilant and make all staff aware to check if the money you receive include these fake notes. Please report any incidents to us via www.west-midlands.police.uk or 101 for non emergencies. In an emergency call 999.
