Alert message sent 07/02/2019 09:02:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

On the afternoon of 06/02/19 at approximately 2pm, Police Scotland received a call from a local East Lothian farmer reporting a possible hare coursing incident in the area around Spittal Farm, Longniddry. Two males were seen walking within a field with a dog described as a possible greyhound/lurcher. Officers attended and searched the surrounding area but unfortunately there was no trace of the males or the dog. Police Scotland would like to thank the member of the public who reported this and would like to remind members of the community if they see or suspect anyone committing this, or any other offences,  to call 101.
