Isle of Axholme Burglaries

Alert message sent 11/01/2019 17:25:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

Over the past couple of days there have been burglaries reported across the Isle of Axholme, empty properties have been targetted whereby the owner/occupier are away either in care/hospital or on holiday.

Please ensure if you are going away on holiday that you do not advertise this on social media, consider using timers on lights to give the perception of someone being at home.

If a neighbour or family member is currently in hospital or care please keep your eye on their property for them ensuring all windows and doors are locked and any valuables are hidden away.

Any suspicious activity can be reported on 101, it's better to report it and have a person or vehicle stopped and checked rather than ignore it and this lead to yourself or a neighbour being a victim of crime.

Visit our Website for burglary prevention advice and register your property with Immobilise here.
