Weekly Policing Update - Earith and Needingworth District

Good Afternoon, Earith and Needingworth District Members –

Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 20th to 26th February:


Colne Road, Earith – Police were called to an incident on Colne Road, Earith, at 11:00 pm on Wednesday 21st February, in which a blue Vauxhall car had crashed into a wall, narrowly avoiding hitting a house. Two men had been seen getting out of the car and running off. Police arranged for recovery of the crashed car whilst the details of the registered owner were traced. (Ref CC-21022018-0489)


A1123 Earith – Police received a report of a collision between two cars on the A1123 at Earith that may have been the result of children throwing an object into the road, causing one car to brake and a following car to run into it. No-one was hurt in the incident, but police searched the area for youths matching the description provided. A young person was later spoken to by officers with regards to the incident. (Ref CC-24022018-0239)
