Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Can you help after a robbery in Nursling earlier this week?

We have launched an investigation into a robbery at the Co-Op store in Nursling on Monday 19 February.

Shortly before 6am staff were opening up the shop on Nursling Street, when four men who had their faces covered. entered the store and threatened the staff members with crowbars.

No-one was hurt, but the men left the store with around £5,000 in cash and £12,000 worth of cigarettes.

The two female members of staff described the men as being white and aged in their twenties.

Officers are trying to establish whether this robbery is linked to any reports that have been reported to us this month.

Anyone with any information should call DC Simon Murray at Southampton Central Police Station on 101 quoting 44180065463.
