Scam Telephone Calls Continue in Sherborne

Reports of scam telephone calls in Sherborne continue to be received by Dorset Police. Over the past 24 hours two scam calls have been reported. The first was a HMRC scam, where the caller claims to be from HM Revenue & Customs distributing fictitious tax refunds.

The second was a BT telephone scam, where the caller claims to be calling from British Telecom and tells the recipient of the call they owe money on a bill.
