Information sent on behalf of Devon and Cornwall Police

Police have received a report of a scam telephone call to a resident in Liskeard.

The caller was a man who called himself Carl told her he was from Lifeline and that due to cutbacks in the service he required her bank account details as she needed to pay extra for her service. This is a scam and Lifeline are not making any calls of that nature.
