Vehicle Crime in Pheasey Park Farm

Alert message sent 19/01/2018 11:54:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear Citizen

We're asking you to help us raise awareness in Pheasey and Park Farm following a rise in vehicle crime.  During the last week (since Friday 12 January) we've recorded some twelve crimes in the area where parked vehicles have been entered and in many cases property stolen.  All but one of the crimes has been committed overnight.

Some of those crimes include:
Lawrence Walk - handbag, purse, cash and bank cards stolen.
Park Farm Road - sat nav stolen.
Foxwood Avenue - cash and sat nav stolen
Ivanhoe Road - bank card and mobile phone stolen

To help us bring down vehicle crime, please remind your neighbours to always check that they have locked their vehicle and removed ALL items from show inside, especially when leaving it overnight.  Always remove anything of value.  Remember, though your insurance may cover any damage caused to the vehicle, it is unlikely to pay for any stolen items.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously, or have any information that may assist, please contact the police on 101, or 999 if you believe a crime is being committed.

Many thanks.
