Distraction Theft - Rear Of Co-Op - Grantham Road - Bracebridge Heath

This is a witness appeal message from the Bracebridge Heath Neighbourhood Policing Team.
We have received a report that an elderly gentleman (white male 5ft 8,medium build) wearing a dark coloured jacket with yellow edging, blue trousers and brown shoes, has been the victim of a distraction theft.

Between 12:10hrs - 12:20hrs today 06/11/17, at the rear car park of the Co-Op on Grantham Road, Bracebridge Heath,an unknown male has approached the complainant and asked if he could change a £20 note for two £10 notes.

After the exchange has taken place the victim has checked the contents of his wallet and has noticed that there was between £240 and £260 missing from it.
