Police have received a total of 15 reported acquisitive crimes over the last week.
With the odd exception most crimes have been committed overnight. With the night’s drawing in when most of us our looking forward to cozy nights at home with our loved ones. A handful of recidivist criminals view the darker evenings as an ideal environment for pilfering property that belongs to others. Very often property & possessions that you have worked hard for. Nobody has a right to take your property. Ensure you keep cars. Sheds & houses locked. Remove anything of value & do not leave anything of value on display. Low level criminals by the very nature of their career are very often looking for the easy option. Don’t give them the opportunity.

Pebble beach. Stokes Bay. Outhouse entered. Nothing of value stolen.
Reeds Road-Garage entered. No sign of forced entry. Two pedal cycles stolen.
Theft from motor vehicles.
Queens Road. Sat nav & wallet removed from unlocked vehicle
Hill Park Road. Two vehicles entered. Low value property removed. No sign of any forced entry.
Durley Road. Aggrieved left laptop bag on display in car parked on road. Offender smashed window to enter vehicle. Removing empty laptop bag.
Theft of pedal cycles
Pier Street. Pedal cycle left unlocked. Removed
St. Georges Walk. Bike locked up & removed
Worthing Avenue-Pedal cycle removed from back garden
Woodland Close. Bike unlocked. Removed.
