The Grange - Monthly Update

Alert message sent 06/05/2017 09:15:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Hello everyone,

We hope you all had a lovely Easter period as we now head towards the summer months. It’s been an action-packed month on The Grange, with 18 arrests for a variety of offences including Harassment, Criminal Damage and Theft.

The local neighbourhood team recently supported the Grangeway Court open day, where spoke with residents, staff and support agencies and saw yet again the brilliant work that happens there. We will continue to work closely with Grangeway Court to ensure that both staff and residents are given all available policing support.

ASB incidents continue to be a priority on The Grange, however there were only 3 ASB incidents around the Grangeway Shop area as we continue to tackle the problem.
We are aware of a number of reports regarding drug-related activity on Sycamore Road and surrounding area. We are actively tackling this issue, with increased patrols along with a joint approach with Halton Borough Council. A ‘Street a week’ initiative was also carried out there recently by local officers and Halton Housing Trust, where residents were asked about their concerns and views on policing.

As you will probably be aware, there was an armed robbery at Heron Foods, Linkway on 29th March, which was reported in the local media and police appeals. Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 805 of 29 March 2017. Alternatively information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Thank-you for reading and for your continued assistance,

PC 30112 Alex BEDDARD – The Grange, Beat Management
