Criminal Activity - Sabden

Dear Citizen
 
Please be advised that further criminal activity in Sabden has been reported overnight Wednesday/Thursday, 8th/9th March 2017.
 
 
  • During hours of darkness, offender(s) used force to enter a garage in Padiham Road, using tools to break the locks. Having gained entry, offender(s) stole two valuable, specialised pedal cycles. Offenders left scene avoiding detection.
 
 
  • During hours of darkness, offender(s) used force to breach a side door at Mill premises in Whalley Road. Having entered, offender(s) conducted a tidy search. Not yet established in anything stolen. Offender(s) left scene undetected.
 
Thank you to all of you for your offers of help in relation to CCTV enquiries in relation to the recent theft of the Land Rover. No time for this offence has yet been established but, commonly this sort of nocturnal criminal activity occurs between the hours of 01:00 to 04:00.
 
A policing response to the recent increase in reported crime is underway.
