Alert message sent 20/02/2017 16:02:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

This message is dated Monday 20th February 2017 for Ascot.

NO CRIME TO REPORT OVER THE WEEKEND !

NO BURGLARIES

AND

NO CARS BROKEN INTO

Quite a bit of crime in Windsor over the weekend !  This is why it is essential for you to report suspicious cars and people to the PEC immediately, not wait the 20 minutes to convince yourself, that man who sends the messages says we have to do it.  Our instincts, are there to protect us.  If you think something feels wrong – IT WILL BE !  If your attention is drawn to someone / a car and you think – ‘what are they up to’ ?  The answer is NO GOOD !  Phone it through to the PEC on the 101 number and say to the operator, you don’t need police attendance, you are passing us intelligence under the Jigsaw Principle – a small piece of intelligence which may be part of a bigger picture.  Lads sitting quietly before they do a ‘job’ or sitting in a quiet road after a ‘job’ in case the police are around.

IF IN DOUBT – RING 101

MEMBERS’ COMMENTS:

Hi Jeff,
Can you remind all the men on your database who are over 50 that we have ‘Men’s Matters’ – a group for men over 50 to meet up, share experiences and make friends.

The Men's Matters 'drop-in' takes place every Monday, 1pm to 3.30pm at All Saints Church, at the corner of Dedworth Hill and Clewer Hill Road (SL4 4JW).

All are welcome and a copy of their last Newsletter is attached.
