Closure order granted following property raid

Alert message sent 03/02/2017 16:58:00

Information sent on behalf of Bedfordshire Police

Officers that raided a property in Suffolk Road, Dunstable, this week have secured a closure order this afternoon (Friday) to further protect the wider community.

The warrant was executed at the address on Tuesday (31 January) where officers seized a gun and a quantity of drugs during the search.

A premises closure order was successfully granted at Luton Magistrates’ Court today under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act and prevents anyone from entering the address for a period of three months.

Two men were arrested and subsequently charged with drugs and firearms offences.

Bedfordshire Police takes drugs and firearms criminality very seriously and works hard to disrupt this type of activity in the county.

If anyone has any concerns about criminal activity in their community we would encourage them to report it to us via 101.
