Sheep Rustling (Livestock Theft) - Copeland

For the attention of all Cumbrian Farmers.
There have been two incidents of Sheep theft in the Copeland area recently. One in mid July 2016 where 48 sheep to the valuer of £9600 were taken from Frizington and the second in early August where 3 sheep were taken from land in the Santon Bridge area and their ear tags removed and left behind. Can all farmers please be vigilant with their livestock checks and please report any suspicious incidents or vehicles to your local Police.
