Closure ordered granted at address in Abbott Road, Didcot

Thames Valley Police has been granted a closure order for 130 Abbott Road, Didcot which was issued under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
This order was granted by Oxford Magistrates Court on Thursday (2/6).
The order is for a period of three months from the date of issue and excludes anyone from entering the property including the occupants during that time.
This is the first such order to be issued by Thames Valley Police in the Didcot area.
This action has been taken after ongoing reports of criminal behaviour and disorder associated both with the address and in the area surrounding.
Inspector Mark Harling, of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said; “This address was the subject of numerous complaints of drug use, drug supply and other criminality.  This closure notice will provide some well needed respite for residents in the immediate area.

“Thames Valley Police is committed to keep our communities safe and tackling issues such as anti-social behaviour and drug use in Didcot.”
